Any purchases of Bacteriostatic Water on it’s own without any peptides will be cancelled and refunded.
Overview:
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water for injection that contains 0.9% benzyl
alcohol as a preservative. It is commonly used as a diluent for reconstituting
lyophilized (freeze-dried) medications or peptides.
Function:
- Dilutes or reconstitutes powdered compounds
- Benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth after vial entry
- Allows multi-dose use when handled under sterile conditions
Research & Clinical Context:
Widely used in clinical and laboratory settings for medication preparation. It
does not have pharmacological activity itself (beyond preservative function).
Safety Considerations:
Not suitable for neonates due to benzyl alcohol toxicity risk.
Must be used under sterile technique to prevent contamination.
